In 2010, the A-maze-ing Farm Adventure teams up with the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association to promote 'Fuel Up To Play 60!' FUTP60 is an effort by National Dairy Council and the NFL to encourage young people to get at least 60 minutes of exercise every day and incorporate low-fat, healthy dairy food and fresh fruit and vegetables into their diets daily. Just one serving of fresh delicious low fat milk supplies the body with more potassium than sports drinks, while also giving calcium and vitamins and minerals for healthy bones and strong lean muscle growth.
So get off the couch America! Unplug, get up and get lost! Get your 60 minutes in our maze! Mazeplay of Firth, Idaho created this maze just for The A-maze-ing Farm Adventure. It covers over 13 acres and features 5 miles of trails, with a maze to fit any skill level. Try the kids maze with our new, Stencil Stations and create a unique farm scene to take home wiht you. Find checkpoints in the larger mazes and register to win prizes. Solve the case in F.S.I. (Farm Scene Investigation). Be a deterctive and figure out "who done it'
Along with the checkpoints throughout the maze, there is also a bridge within the maze. This bridge is manned by a “Corn Cop”, who is on the lookout for anyone in trouble (or causing trouble). Of course, you are welcome to cross the bridge as well, giving you a unique vantage point above the corn.
Weekends in October, we open ‘Blood Harvest– Terror in the Corn 10’. No maps, no lights, pure terror! You’ll pay to get in – but you’ll pray to get out!
One last thing: While we expect you to have tons of fun and make wonderful memories here, we do also expect you to respect the maze, the animals and other people. Please stay on designated paths within the maze – DO NOT cut through the field. This results in destruction to the field and the maze design. Individuals violating this policy will be asked to leave. Also, please do not smoke or use an open flame of any type in the maze. Dry corn and fire do not mix.
Please do not drop off your children at the maze. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please remember to wear appropriate footwear – tennis shows or boots are best. Flip flops and sandals make the going pretty rough, so we advise against these. If the weather is warm, you might want to take a bottle of water or other beverage into the maze; just remember to bring it back out.
We hope you will join us for “The A-Maze-ing Farm Adventure” – we’re sure you’ll have an A-Maze-ing time!
